Our Overview
T-CAIREM is the Temerty Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research and Education in Medicine at the University of Toronto, based at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Our mission is to establish world-class educational programs in AI in medicine, fund interdisciplinary research, and create a secure data platform to house datasets for applied AI learning and research. Beyond education and research funding, we run initiatives like a repository of de-identified medical datasets (Health Data Nexus), an AI Learning Hub, conferences, and bootcamps connecting students, researchers, and clinicians across Canada and internationally.
